Friday is the day I fly - fly high to Istanbul to visit family and friends after almost a year... and what a year that was...I can already smell the oven warm morning simits and the fragrant tea, I am craving some homemade sea bean salad, some cabbage pickles, and ah, just the thought of being home is - exhilarating.
